Well-Placed Commas: A Weekly Poetry Workshop
Workshop Details: A 16+ writing workshop open to all levels of experience. We do not censor for content, but we do expect people to be held accountable for their words. Held every Sunday from 12-2 pm at the Fox Egg Gallery on 38th and Chicago. Follow us on Facebook.
Workshop Mission Statement: Well-Placed Commas is a 16+ collaborative arts space centered around poetry and community building. The space aims to provide a constructive workshop space for people from various types of communities, especially those that might not otherwise have access to a writing workshop and/or editing space. We hope to help amplify people’s voices and support them in presenting their narratives, teaching them various writing techniques and providing a brave space to share work. Here at WPC, we also believe in both free speech and holding people accountable for their words. Dialogue is encouraged, and absolutely everyone is welcome!
The Workshop is run by Word Sprout's own Ollie Renee Schminkey.
